Philippines

          The Philippines is an island country in South-East Asia, located on an archipelago of about 7,100 islands, out of which only 860 are populated. They have 92 million inhabitants, which makes it the twelfth most populous country in the world. Philippines are very varied geographically and culturally, they are made out of more than 100 ethnic groups, in which colonial influences can be noticed. This is the only country in Asia with the Catholic religion as a dominant one. It is a country of many contrasts – wealth and glamor, with extreme poverty and people living on the streets.
